Job summary

PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer III in a hybrid role supporting our POS solutions.

You will be the technical advisor during pre-sales, collaborating with sales, product, and implementation teams to understand client challenges and architect tailored solutions. Ideal candidates bring deep product knowledge, strong communication skills, and experience presenting high-impact demos to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales role in the fintech, POS, or payment processing industry.
• Proficiency with POS systems, payment processing flows, API integrations, and enterprise solution design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Adept at preparing and delivering high-impact technical presentations and demos.
• Skilled with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), demo environments, and proposal platforms.
• Certification in pre-sales methodologies or POS systems is a plus (e.g., Certified Solutions Engineer, PMP, ITIL).

Responsibilities

• Design and Deliver Technical Solutions: Work directly with sales and product teams to identify client needs and craft scalable, customer-centric POS solutions.
• Lead Product Demonstrations: Execute advanced product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to customer use cases.
• Support RFPs and Proposals: Participate in and lead the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
• Market and Competitive Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends and share insights to guide solution strategy.
• Pre-Sales Collaboration: Act as a strategic advisor to Sales, translating requirements into detailed solution blueprints.
• Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product Management, Implementation, and Customer Support teams.
• Customer Engagements: Engage onsite and virtually to gather feedback and guide solution architecture.
