Job summary

PDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer III to support the PDI POS solutions in a hybrid role. You will work with sales, product, and implementation teams to understand customer challenges, architect tailored solutions, and demonstrate how PDI’s POS technology solves business needs.

This mid-senior role requires deep product knowledge and strong communication. You will engage with customers onsite and virtually, create detailed solution blueprints, and contribute to post-sales

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales role in the fintech, POS, or payment processing industry.
• Proficiency with POS systems, payment processing flows, API integrations, and enterprise solution design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Adept at preparing and delivering high-impact technical presentations and demos.
• Skilled with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), demo environments, and proposal platforms.
• Certification in pre-sales methodologies or POS systems is a plus (e.g., Certified Solutions Engineer, PMP, ITIL).

Responsibilities

• Design and Deliver Technical Solutions: align client needs with scalable POS solutions.
• Lead Product Demonstrations: conduct advanced demos and tailored presentations.
• Support RFPs and Proposals: provide clear, technical responses.
• Market and Competitive Insights: monitor trends and competitive offerings.
• Pre-Sales Collaboration: act as strategic advisor to Sales with technical depth.
• Cross-functional Partnership: work with Product, Implementation, and Support.
• Customer Engagements: onsite and virtual engagements to guide architecture.
