Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to independently lead technical engagements, owning discovery, solution design, and platform demonstrations. You will be a builder who can code, architect, and present—driving Databricks adoption with customer-facing impact.

You will manage frontline relationships, develop technical strategies with the Account Executive, and deliver compelling proofs-of-concept across data engineering, analytics, and ML workloads.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; live coding required.
• Experience designing data solutions on at least one public cloud.
• Strong in technical presentations and demos.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads.
• Build proofs-of-concept and live demos to drive adoption.
• Own frontline customer relationships with engineers and data teams.
• Develop technical strategies with Account Executive to grow platform usage.
