Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to independently lead technical engagements, owning discovery, solution design, and platform demonstrations. You will be a builder who can code, architect, and present—driving Databricks adoption while managing frontline customer relationships with your Account Executive.

You will engage in discovery and architecture reviews, design data solutions on public clouds, and deliver compelling proofs-of-concept to push platform consumption and success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture or pre-sales.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production-quality coding.
• Experience on AWS, Azure or GCP and distributed data systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads.
• Build proofs-of-concept and live demos to win technical adoption.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account-level technical strategies with the Account Executive.
• Articulate differentiators through hands-on demonstrations.
• Create reusable technical assets for the broader SA community.
