Job summary

F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical architect and advisor to Fortune 500 customers. You will design, champion, and sell modern F5 application delivery and security solutions across multi-cloud, hybrid, and edge environments to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

8+ years in pre-sales engineering or equivalent
Experience with large enterprise accounts and regulated industries
Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
Familiarity with edge cloud/WAAP platforms, API gateways, or hyperscaler networking
Interest in securing AI workloads and modern data services

Responsibilities

Partner with CISOs and Platform Engineering to translate business goals into architectural blueprints
Guide enterprise customers to modern hybrid architectures bridging data centers and cloud
Lead discovery, design validation, and demos for WAAP, Bot Defense, DDoS, and Zero Trust
Enable cloud-native and AI transformation including Kubernetes ingress patterns
Demonstrate Infrastructure-as-Code workflows with Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD
Lead technical evaluation and align with product/engineering roadmaps
Share customer insights with product teams to influence roadmaps
