Job summary

Atlassian’s DX Solutions Engineering Team is seeking a Pre-Sales Senior Solutions Engineer to drive growth of the DX product by acting as the solution expert during the sales cycle and helping close critical deals.

You will lead technical evaluations, design integrations of Atlassian APIs with complex client workflows, and advise prospects on deployment and analytics best practices, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to shape solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of APIs and RESTful services.
• Experience with Git and GitHub CLI version control.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Evaluations: drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle, incl. POCs and Pilots.
• Discovery and Strategy: lead technical discovery sessions with clients.
• Consultative Questioning: ask detailed questions to uncover client needs.
• Solution Design: propose tailored technical solutions for integrating APIs into client workflows.
• Trusted Advisory: provide strategic deployment and analytics guidance.
• Feedback Loop: capture technical feedback to inform product roadmap.
