Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to own the technical pre-sales and implementation for complex client engagements across the US. You will turn business requirements into solution designs and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deployments.

The role can be based in San Francisco or New York City (3 days in office), with implementation coverage across the US. Strong communication and API integration experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in technical pre-sales managing complex tech or financial services implementations.
• 8+ years in client-facing delivery or professional services in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams on high-value implementations and expansions.
• Partner with implementation and account teams to translate customer requirements into scalable architectures.
• Work with sales on technical discovery to understand systems and data flows and recommend integration blueprint.
• Guide customers through complex configuration decisions, focusing on robust, maintainable implementations.
• Create and maintain internal docs, playbooks, and lightweight tooling for support of integration-heavy use cases.
• Channel customer pain points to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and features.
