Job summary
F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical architect for Fortune 500 enterprises and fast‑growing digital innovators. You will design, champion, and sell modern F5 application delivery and security solutions across multi‑cloud, hybrid, and edge environments to achieve sales targets.
In this role, you will collaborate with Sales and Enterprise teams, guiding customers through modernization journeys, architecture validations, and demonstrations of WAAP, Bot Defense,
Qualifications
- 8+ years in pre‑sales engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with large enterprise accounts and high‑compliance industries
- Ability to translate complex tech to business outcomes and build trust
- Experience with WAAP, API gateways, cloud networking, or hyperscalers
- Familiarity with securing or optimizing AI workloads and data services
Responsibilities
- Partner with CISOs and Platform Engineering leaders to design scalable architectural blueprints.
- Evolve enterprise customers' BIG-IP foundations into modern hybrid architectures.
- Lead discovery, validation, and demos for WAAP, Bot Defense, DDoS, and Zero Trust.
- Advise on cloud‑native strategies, Kubernetes ingress patterns, and AI inference pipelines.
- Demonstrate declarative automation with Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD workflows.
- Guide technical evaluations, identifying priorities and differentiators for F5.
- Share insights with Product/Engineering to influence roadmaps.
