Job summary
F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for Fortune 500 enterprises, designing and selling modern application delivery and security solutions. You will work with enterprise teams to bridge on-prem data centers with multi-cloud and edge environments, driving architecture decisions and customer success.
You will lead technical discovery, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and enablement across WAAP, DDoS mitigation, and Zero Trust, while partnering with Sales
Qualifications
- 8+ years in pre-sales engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of BIG-IP or F5 solutions
- Security knowledge for WAF, DNS, and L4-L7
- Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- CKA certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Partner with CISOs, Cloud Architects, and Platform Engineering leaders to translate business goals into scalable blueprints.
- Guide enterprise customers to evolve BIG-IP foundations into hybrid architectures.
- Lead discovery, design validations, and demonstrations across WAAP, Bot Defense, DDoS, and Zero Trust.
- Assist in modernizing traffic management and AI gateway architectures for cloud-native environments.
- Demonstrate IaC workflows and CI/CD pipelines integrating NetOps, SecOps, and DevOps.
