Job summary

F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical architect for Fortune 500 enterprises and digital innovators. You will design, champion, and sell F5’s application delivery and security solutions across multi-cloud and edge environments to meet sales targets.

You will partner with sales leadership and enterprise teams to translate complex goals into resilient blueprints, guide modernization journeys, and demonstrate WAAP, bot defense, DDoS, and Zero Trust capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales engineering or equivalent customer-aligned role.
• Experience with large enterprise accounts, regulated industries preferred.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Familiarity with edge cloud/WAAP platforms and API gateways.
• Interest in securing or optimizing AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CISOs and Platform Engineering to create scalable blueprints.
• Guide enterprise customers from legacy to modern hybrid architectures.
• Lead discovery, design validation, and demonstrations across WAAP and security.
• Advise on cloud-native patterns, Kubernetes ingress, and AI gateways.
• Demonstrate declarative workflows with Terraform/Ansible and CI/CD.
• Support technical alignment and share insights with Product/Engineering.
