Job summary

Experian is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to collaborate with Sales, Client Services, and Product Management during the acquisition phase. You will lead conversations on product functionality and integration, and develop platform proposals to support a smooth transition from sales to implementation.

You will become a technical expert in AtData platform capabilities, participate in sales calls with demos, and design solutions for prospective clients, setting realistic expectations and guiding

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise software pre-sales
• 5+ years total experience in a client-facing technical role (PM, Solution Architect, or similar)
• 2+ years participating in the sales cycle at a tech company as a technical resource
• Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree, or technical certification(s)
• Background of successful technical project implementation as a technical expert or PM
• Experience with API integrations and REST web services
• Knowledge of database structure and data transfer methods including SFTP and AWS S3

Responsibilities

• Become a technical expert in AtData platform capabilities and technologies.
• Participate in sales calls and client visits, providing platform demos and translating client needs into platform functionality.
• Design platform solutions for prospective clients.
• Set expectations of prospective clients relative to platform functionality and roadmap.
• Lead integration discussions with prospective clients and conduct formal handoffs to the Client Delivery team.
• Maintain and distribute weekly snapshots of prospects in the sales pipeline and participate in pipeline review meetings.
• Update corporate knowledge base with new client information and workflow.
• Identify new use cases for the platform and collaborate cross-departmentally to assess feasibility and importance.
• Create development tickets for product enhancements and bug fixes, and participate in acceptance testing for these tickets.
