Job summary

Databricks in the United States is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to lead discovery, design, and platform demonstrations for customer workloads. You will build live proofs-of-concept and own frontline customer relationships alongside the Account Executive to expand platform usage.

You will combine deep technical skills with strong communication to articulate differentiators, drive adoption, and deliver technical wins across data engineering, analytics, and ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, or pre-sales.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; able to write production-quality code.
• Experience designing data solutions on at least one public cloud.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads.
• Build proofs-of-concept and live demos to drive technical wins.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account-level technical strategies to grow platform usage.
• Contribute reusable technical assets to the SA community.
