Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation's Enterprise Experience NVEX Solutions Engineering team seeks a senior Computer or Software Engineer to specialize in networking for AI clusters. You will bridge customer support and R&D, solving tough problems at the source, and you will work with high‑speed interconnects such as InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X that link GPUs and AI compute infrastructure.

Qualifications

BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of C or Python development on Linux platforms.
8+ years in software development, testing, and debugging for NIC drivers, switch ASICs/SDKs, firmware, or network OSes.
At least 3 years of direct customer support for network equipment.
Strong system software (firmware, BIOS, kernel, driver, OS) expertise.
Professional communication skills and a passion for learning innovative tech.

Responsibilities

Assist network and AI cluster support teams in reproducing and root-causing complex customer issues.
Work with R&D to develop fixes, workarounds, and solutions for critical customers using NVIDIA’s network tech.
Become an authority on NVIDIA network technologies such as InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X.
Analyze network performance metrics and advise on tuning for high-performance, lossless networks.
Develop support and analysis tools to diagnose field issues.
Daily use of AI tools for software development, log analysis, and source code debugging.
