Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Seattle seeks a senior Computer or Software Engineer to join the NVEX Solutions Engineering team. You will become an expert in NVIDIA's network technologies used in AI clusters and will bridge customer support with R&D to resolve tough issues.

You will reproduce, debug, and root‑cause problems, develop fixes and workarounds, and help tune high‑performance, lossless networks such as InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum‑X.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of C or Python development on Linux.
• 8+ years of software development for NIC drivers, switch ASICs, embedded network devices, or SDN stacks.
• At least 3 years directly supporting end-customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment.
• Strong system software experience (firmware, BIOS, kernel, drivers, OS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist network and AI cluster support teams in reproducing and resolving complex customer issues.
• Develop fixes, workarounds, and solutions with R&D for critical customers.
• Become an authority in NVIDIA network technologies like InfiniBand, NVLink, Spectrum-X.
• Analyze network performance metrics and make tuning recommendations for high-performance networks.
• Develop support and analysis tools for root-causing field issues.
• Daily use of AI tools for software development, log/trace analysis, and debugging.
• Occasionally work weekends or holidays to support customers.
