Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Networking Engineer to design and deploy cutting‑edge NVIDIA networking platforms for AI and HPC workloads in the United States. You will work with Spectrum‑X and other technologies, develop PoC materials, and address complex customer issues.

Applicants should have 6+ years of software experience, degrees in CS/EE, and strong debugging and collaboration skills. Base salary ranges from $148,000 to $235,750, with equity and benefits, plus a strong incentive program.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with computer software, knowledge of Linux kernel, Ethernet and IP protocols
• B.Sc, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive knowledge in, and experience with debugging issues involving Ethernet Switches/Routers and network protocols in the L2 to L4 layers
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to details
• Ability to work collaboratively and be willing to work directly with customers

Responsibilities

• Support networking technologies such as Spectrum‑X and work with customers on their technical challenges and requirements using said technologies during pre‑sales activities
• Develop proof‑of‑concept materials for innovative technologies for use by early adopters
• Gain customers’ trust and understand their needs to help design and deploy cutting‑edge NVIDIA networking platforms to run AI and HPC workloads
• Address sophisticated and highly‑visible customer issues
• Work closely with R&D teams to develop new features for customers
• Help with product requirements along side engineering and product marketing
