Job summary

Redwood Software is seeking a solutions engineer to serve as the technical face of the category leader, guiding enterprise prospects through SOAP use cases and AI-enabled automation. You will deliver compelling demonstrations, articulate ROI, and collaborate with executives to articulate value.

3+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering in enterprise software, with API, scripting, and AI tool experience. A SAP ecosystem familiarity is a plus, and a BS degree is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or adjacent technical role in enterprise software.
• Experience with REST APIs and light scripting (Python, bash) for integrations and demos.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in a professional context (LLMs, prompts, AI tooling).
• Familiarity with agentic AI and AI orchestration concepts in enterprise workflows.
• High-level ERP literacy across core processes.
• Ability to bridge technical depth and business value to executives.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Cover the full SOAP surface area and present Redwood's capabilities across use cases.
• Deliver technical presentations and live product overviews connecting AI capabilities to outcomes.
• Lead proof-of-concept work and light scripting to close technical gaps.
• Enable Account Executives with technical insight and prospect feedback.
• Stay ahead of the SOAP and AI landscape with continuous learning.
