Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior Computer or Software Engineer for the NVEX Solutions Engineering team in the United States. The role emphasizes hands-on development, debugging, and root-cause analysis of network technologies used in AI clusters.

Candidates should have extensive C and Python experience, Linux/NOS familiarity, and strong customer-facing skills. The position involves collaboration with R&D, field teams, and other NVIDIA groups to resolve complex issues, deliver fixes, and optimize

Qualifications

BS in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
8+ years of C programming in Linux and embedded systems
Proficiency in Python
Experience developing for network equipment and infrastructures (NIC drivers, embedded firmware, SDN stacks)
Strong system software expertise (firmware, BIOS, kernel, drivers, OS)
Experience supporting end-customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment
Excellent communication and ability to explain complex issues clearly
Interest in learning innovative tech and working on ground-breaking products

Responsibilities

Assist network and AI cluster support teams in reproducing and root-causing complex customer issues
Work with R&D to develop bug fixes, workarounds, and solutions for critical customers
Become an authority in NVIDIA network technologies like Infiniband, NVLink, Spectrum-X
Analyze network performance metrics and provide tuning recommendations
Develop tools to analyze and root cause field issues
Daily use of AI tools for software development, log analysis, and debugging
Occasional weekend/holiday work to support customers
