Job summary

At Akamai, the world's leading platform for performance and security, the Public Sector Pre-Sales team is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in the United States. You will design and sell innovative solutions by partnering with engineering and business teams to become the technical expert trusted by government and regulated industries.

You will create sales opportunities, manage the pre-sales process, lead technical demos and POCs, and translate customer needs into accurate technical proposals

• Proven ability to manage the pre-sales technical process.
• Experience delivering technical demos and proofs of concepts.
• Ability to align Akamai solutions with government and regulated industry needs.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
