Job summary

Salsify is seeking a Solutions Consultant II to translate complex business requirements into high-value, actionable technical capabilities for manufacturers and distributors. You will partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to demonstrate value and shape winning strategies, aligning technical outcomes with business goals.

You’ll influence product direction, maintain deep product knowledge, and build trusted advisor relationships across teams while delivering compelling demonstrations

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer, or Sales Engineer for B2B SaaS solutions.
• Prior experience in industrial manufacturing, distribution, or a closely adjacent B2B vertical.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with an influential presence in front of executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to create and deliver business value across industrial manufacturing and distribution accounts.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical capabilities, designing tailored solutions.
• Maintain technical knowledge of Salsify’s product offerings and customer success stories to tie functionality to outcomes.
• Build relationships and trust with prospects and customers through industry thought leadership.
• Be a trusted advisor within the Solutions Consulting team and with cross-functional teams (Product, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing).
• Leverage consultative leadership and storytelling to differentiate Salsify in a competitive market.
