You will recruit, onboard and coach talent, align product insights with sales and engineering, and drive the value proposition of Elastic Cloud across regions. Travel 10‑30% is expected; fluency in English and Japanese is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading and growing a pre-sales Solutions Architecture team.
• Articulate benefits of modern platforms for Search, Security, APM and Logging.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, architectures and data analytics.
• Own the room presenting to large and small audiences.
• Player-coach mindset with focus on growth.
• Willing to travel 10-30% within the region.
• Fluent English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow the Solutions Architecture (Sales Engineering) team.
• Provide onboarding, training and education programs for the team.
• Drive the value proposition for Elastic Cloud with the community and customers.
• Communicate product insights across business functions.
• Help Product and Engineering prioritize features for users.
• Formulate and drive the partner engagement strategy to achieve regional goals.
