Job summary

Hiscox USA is seeking a Solution Architect to design and govern end-to-end technology solutions for Digital Experience and API integration across our US insurance portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Solution Architecture, US, this hybrid role sits in a fast-paced environment and partners with product, engineering, and business leaders to drive scalable, secure, and compliant designs.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in UX/CX patterns, API development, and strong insurance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution, systems, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years in insurance technology environments.
• Strong UX/CX tooling knowledge and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Core Insurance Platforms.
• Agile software development experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to lead multiple change projects in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end technology solutions for Digital Experience and API layers.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners and engineering teams.
• Develop architectural artifacts and present options, risks, and recommendations.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Lead architecture strategy for complex programs and communicate to teams.
• Support delivery with AI and UX/CX tooling across projects.
