Job summary

Anderson Technologies, a family-founded IT consulting firm and MSP serving St. Louis area and beyond, seeks a Solutions Architect / Tier 3 Engineer to own the most complex escalations and lead technical design for client solutions.

This hybrid role combines architecting cloud, network, and on-prem environments with delivery leadership for migrations and onboarding, reporting to the VP of IT Operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an MSP/IT services environment with increasing responsibilities.
• Deep, hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Strong networking fundamentals: LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, and VoIP troubleshooting.
• Experience with tenant, email, and file-share migrations.
• PSA/RMM tooling experience (Autotask, ConnectWise, Kaseya, NinjaOne, Datto RMM).
• Excellent root-cause troubleshooting and ability to resolve issues permanently.
• Clear client-facing written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the final escalation point for the most complex service desk tickets beyond Tier 1 and Tier 2.
• Diagnose and resolve Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and connectivity issues including outages affecting client systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis to move incidents to permanent remediation and document fixes in the knowledge base.
• Architect cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments secure, resilient, and scalable to client needs.
• Design Azure and Microsoft 365 environments emphasizing operational resilience, backups, and continuity.
• Provide pre-sales input, scope definitions, and effort estimates for SOWs and IT assessments.
• Mentor engineers and establish runbooks, SOPs, and repeatable processes.
