Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end Service Provider network designs and deployment strategies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (Engineering, CS)
• 8+ years in systems engineering or network architecture for Service Provider
• Deep knowledge of Cisco technology portfolio
• Strong Service Provider acumen
• Expertise in Cisco IMI routing portfolio
• Mastery of BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and Segment Routing
• Proficiency in IP network automation
• Familiarity with API-driven workflows (e.g., Ansible)
• Excellent communication, presentation and executive presence
• Ability to build durable technical relationships at customer accounts
• Industry certifications such as CCIE/CCNP/CCNA preferred
• Advanced knowledge of 5G Mobility Core architecture
• Expertise in Routed Optical Networking, DWDM and data center optics
• Understanding of network programmability, NFV and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and lead cross-functional teams
• Willing to relocate to Seattle/Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS areas

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic Service Provider partners
• Architect end-to-end solutions addressing Tier 1 Service Provider business requirements
• Build relationships with technical and business decision makers
• Provide expert guidance to enable partners to sell and deploy Cisco technologies
• Use modern AI tools to accelerate productivity and streamline workflows
• Deliver innovative proof-of-concept solutions
• Own the full project lifecycle from discovery through architecture, validation, POC execution, and technical close
• Position Cisco architectures against competitive alternatives
• Resolve technical objections at engineering and executive levels
• Collaborate with the Account Executive and extended account team to translate architectural vision into account strategy
• Lead end-to-end technical design for Service Provider routing, including IP Core, IP Edge, and Backhaul architectures
• Guide customers toward Autonomous Network architectures with visibility, predictive analytics, and self-healing capabilities
• Use 5G Mobility Core expertise to help partners modernize mobile infrastructure
