Job summary

Jobtailor in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Senior Network Architect focused on private cellular and radio infrastructure. You will develop standards, architectures, and roadmaps, design solutions for cellular network requirements, and collaborate with business-facing teams across North America.

You will analyze requirements, plan capacity for campuses and data centers, lead project meetings, coordinate deployments, and ensure stability of DAS, Private 4G/5G, and related systems, while guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8–10 years of professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence and persuade management.
• Experience with Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and signal boosting solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying Private Cellular solutions (Private 4G/5G) on licensed and/or CBRS spectrums.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN/WLAN concepts and firewalls.
• CCNA or higher certification preferred.
• Experience designing and deploying Private Cellular Network solutions preferred.
• Limited travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards, architectures, and roadmaps for private cellular and radio infrastructure.
• Design solutions meeting cellular network requirements across North American locations.
• Analyze requirements and design technical solutions for complex problems.
• Evaluate technical and economic feasibility across the full technology life cycle.
• Ensure stability and availability of cellular/radio hardware and software.
• Plan cellular infrastructure capacity for campuses, data centers, and remote sites.
• Collaborate with LAN, WAN, security teams, and domain architects to evaluate new standards.
• Lead weekly project status meetings.
• Coordinate resources, deploys, and validate upgrades and expansions.
• Supervise or perform site installations and software enhancements.
• Submit and track change management for cellular/radio systems.
• Monitor systems and document root causes.
