Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior network engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performance IP infrastructure using MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and ISIS. You will lead complex troubleshooting, contribute to network modernization, and ensure compliance with ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.

The role requires top-level security credentials, hands-on work with Ciena/Cisco/Juniper platforms, and proficiency in Python or Ansible for automation. Arlington, VA area preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 8+ years or Bachelor's with 10+ years in network engineering.
• U.S. citizenship and Top-Secret clearance with TS eligibility.
• 5+ years provisioning carrier-class networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain carrier-class IP network infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support and root-cause analysis.
• Automate configuration with Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Ensure ISO27001 and PCI-DSS security compliance.
