Job summary

Global-Enterprise-Services, LL is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to support the I3TS program at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a strong background in secure, scalable IT infrastructure, and experience guiding migrations and automation.

You will work with Leidos and government teams to drive modernization and cost efficiencies. The candidate will develop architecture artifacts, lead proof-of-concept projects, and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS, or related STEM field.
• Active DoW TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience designing secure, scalable on-prem and cloud-based infrastructures.
• Experience planning and executing migration of applications and services.
• Experience maintaining architecture artifacts and communicating designs to executives and technical stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating new technologies to improve performance, security, and cost.
• Experience operating in a DevSecOps environment of comparable size and complexity.
• Proven written and oral communications skills across all levels of an organization.
• Must possess an active DoW 8570 IAT Level II certification OR ability to obtain certification within 60 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Identify service gaps and opportunities for continual innovation in I3TS.
• Lead analysis of alternatives and proofs of concept to justify improvements.
• Improve site surveys and migrations to be standardized, automated, and efficient.
• Increase automation to reduce staffing needs and human error.
• Apply open design principles to avoid vendor lock-in and integrate emerging tech.
• Collaborate with Leidos and Government stakeholders to align with vision.
• Draft detailed project plans covering technical approach, cost, schedule, and risks.
• Oversee proofs of concept (≤3 months) to demonstrate utility of improvements.
• Document and present analysis results to stakeholders.
