Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join our Integrated Information Technology Support Services (I3TS) team, supporting a digital modernization program for DTRA at Fort Belvoir, VA. The System Architect will work closely with Leidos and Government leadership to drive innovative, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering or related STEM field with 8–10 years of experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Experience designing secure, scalable on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
Experience planning migrations of applications and services.
Experience communicating architecture to executives and technical stakeholders.
Experience evaluating new technologies to improve performance, scalability, security, and cost.
Experience operating in a DevSecOps environment of comparable size and complexity.
Proven written and oral communication skills; active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Support the I3TS Principal Solutions Architect in identifying service gaps and driving continual innovation.
Lead analyses of alternatives and proofs of concept for improvements.
Oversee the development of proofs of concept (3 months or less) to provide insights.
Draft detailed project plans outlining technical approach, cost, schedule, and risks.
Collaborate with Leidos and Government stakeholders to identify improvements.
Document and present results to engineering review boards.
