Job summary

Cerence is hiring a Principal Solutions Architect for Robotics & Voice in the California Bay Area. You will engage with senior robotics customers, own the technical core of opportunities, and ensure seamless integration of Cerence voice on customer hardware.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and services to drive deals, shape product directions, and lead value-driven engagements. Regular travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Background in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering discipline with customer-facing experience.
• Experience with robotics software stack and hardware integration.
• Proven ability to perform technical evaluations and deliver proofs of value.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage senior technical decision-makers in robotics and voice-enabled solutions.
• Own the technical core of opportunities, including hardware fit and design considerations.
• Clear technical roadblocks to move evaluations toward commitments.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and professional services to translate field learnings.
• Shape the product by feeding customer requirements back into development.
• Travel to customer sites 20–30%.
