Job summary

Cisco Systems in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead consultative pre-sales architecture across multiple Cisco technology domains, translating complex customer requirements into practical blueprints and multi-year transformation roadmaps.

In this role you will partner with Service Sales, Account Teams, and DAT to shape deals, lead RFP/RFI responses, de-risk delivery, and mentor the technical community, while influencing senior IT/OT leaders with a clear lifecycle

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of professional experience in technical solutions architecture or engineering.
CCIE or equivalent certification is required.
Proven ability across at least two major Cisco technology domains.
Experience managing complex multi-architecture engagement lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Architect multi-domain transformational solutions translating business and technical needs into blueprints and journey maps.
Hunt and accelerate lifecycle opportunities by partnering with sales and delivery teams to close complex deals.
Lead CX RFP/RFI engagements, articulating business value of Cisco technologies and services.
Bridge pre-sales solutioning to delivery, performing risk assessments and cost-feasibility mapping.
Engage senior IT/OT leaders to demonstrate Cisco lifecycle roadmaps and value.
Mentor architects and scale reusable IP through workshops and knowledge sharing.
