Job summary

Aiven is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect - AMER to promote our managed open‑source services. You’ll work across pre‑sales and post‑sales to help customers adopt multi‑cloud, open‑source data platforms and streaming infrastructures.

Travel up to 20% is expected, with a focus on customer success and technical advocacy. Ideal candidates have strong tech sales experience, can translate complex tech into business value, and are fluent with cloud providers like AWS, Google, or Azure.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales or consulting.
• Ability to translate complex tech into business value for buyers.
• Experience implementing proofs of concept with cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Succeed customers from pre‑sales to rollout and beyond.
• Lead proofs of concept and address customer needs.
• Contribute to customer enablement, stability, and growth.
• Participate in sales processes and support existing customers.
• Act as Aiven ambassador via blogs, webinars, meetups, talks.
