Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team serving ISV customers. You will hire, coach, and develop Architects, guiding them in architecture best practices and customer engagement to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

You will partner with account teams to drive business outcomes, mentor team members on leadership principles, and help scale knowledge through internal publications and speaking engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree; experience architecting/operating solutions built on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI).

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solutions Architects.
• Coach Solutions Architects to transfer deep technical knowledge to ISV customers.
• As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on AWS.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support.
