Job summary

Amphenol ICC is seeking a Solutions Architect in Santa Clara, CA to lead architectural design and strategy for customer solutions using Amphenol products. You will present to executives and provide advanced technical support across the sales cycle.

You will mentor junior engineers, influence product differentiation, and travel as needed to engage customers and partners. A strong background in interconnects and system architecture is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering; advanced degree desirable.
• 10+ years of product marketing and sales support experience in interconnect solutions.
• Deep system architecture knowledge from connector/cable or customer side.
• Extensive experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for customer solutions with Amphenol products.
• Provide strategic technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and lead high-level product presentations to executives.
• Offer advanced customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
• Devise strategies to differentiate our products from competitors and meet objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead within the Field Applications Engineering team.
• Travel will be required.
