Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Solutions Architect in Santa Clara, CA. You will lead architectural design, provide marketing support, and present to executives while mentoring engineers. A strong background in interconnects, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer or Electrical Engineering; advanced degree desirable.
• Experience in signal transmission, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity.
• 10+ years in product marketing and sales technical support for design wins.
• 10+ years in interconnect solutions.
• Deep knowledge of system architecture from connector/cable or customer side.
• Extensive experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for customer solutions involving Amphenol products.
• Provide strategic technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and lead high-level product presentations to key stakeholders (including executives).
• Provide advanced customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries.
• Devise and implement strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from competitors.
• Lead efforts to meet and exceed strategic objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership within the Field Applications Engineering team.
• Travel will be required.
