Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support connectivity solutions for a major hyperscale data center customer. You will work across customer, engineering, and internal business teams to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions.

Role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and field teams, prototype coordination, and successful commercialization. Travel up to 25% may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering Related Studies required (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Optics).
• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, data centers, or related industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to distinguish color-coded cabling and optical fiber components.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work outside standard business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gathering customer requirements and supporting solution development.
• Acting as a technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams.
• Coordinating prototype efforts and leading field trials for new products.
• Developing installation, handling, and testing procedures.
• Delivering training to customers, design teams, and contractors.
• Supporting commercialization activities, including documentation, design tools, and cross-functional coordination.
