Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related technical field required; master's preferred.
- 5+ years designing and deploying live production environments for broadcast.
- 3+ years designing and deploying SMPTE ST 2110 IP-based media environments.
- Strong understanding of video contribution technologies including JPEG2000, JPEG XS, H.264, H.265, and TICO.
- Proficient English communication; ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Serve as field team's technical guru leading pre- and post-sales design sessions.
- Demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices on Sony's Networked Solutions portfolio (IP Live, Nevion, IP-enabled hardware).
- Analyze customer requirements and position the solution effectively.
- Present IP-based technologies and solutions to broadcasters, telecom operators, and partners.
- Lead technical definition, proposals, and SOW development and execution.
- Lead remote or onsite proofs-of-concept at customer premises.
