Job summary

Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking an Expert Solutions Architect to lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from early design to final proposal. You will guide customers through technology choices and design high‑level IP solutions for broadcast workflows.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented, and can deliver on-time with strong customer satisfaction. Occasional travel is required, and a hybrid home/office model is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of video contribution technologies including current codecs such as JPEG2000, JPEG XS, H.264, H.265, and TICO.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• High level of comfort communicating across internal and external teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking and broadcast technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre- and post-sales design and planning sessions as the field team’s Technical Guru.
• Demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices for Sony’s Networked Solutions (IP Live, Nevion, IP-enabled hardware).
• Assess customer workflows to differentiate requirements from wants and position the solution portfolio.
• Present IP-based technologies to broadcasters, telecom operators and partners.
• Act as the technical solution owner throughout the sales cycle.
