Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team. This fully remote position is within the United States with core hours 8 AM–5 PM ET.

The role focuses on documenting current state architectures and creating solution architectures for interoperable systems in a dynamic, demanding environment. Requires extensive experience and a track record of leading complex healthcare IT projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline.
• 15 years of related experience; 10 years may substitute for education.
• Expert-level knowledge and highly innovative problem-solving.
• Experience in a Healthcare or Healthcare Insurance environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, including short-notice requests.

Responsibilities

• Quickly develop a holistic view of the organization’s current IT architecture and future plans.
• Build/augment technology roadmaps and runways aligned with organizational strategy.
• Direct interface with users/stakeholders to determine needs.
• Propose effective architectural solutions in multiple technical environments.
