Job summary

AWS Global Sales seeks a Solutions Architect to help Financial Services payments customers understand best practices for cloud solutions and migrate workloads to AWS. You will build relationships with senior leaders and guide complex deployments while driving adoption across enterprise clients.

You will shape and execute strategies leveraging AWS resources and partner networks, empowering cloud advocacy and successful outcomes for large-scale implementations. Travel 15–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or security.
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment and resilience in the cloud.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs and proof of concepts.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS services.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical and business leaders and individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel is mostly regional, and is expected to be 15-20%.
