Databricks seeks a Solutions Architect to define the technical strategy for customers, own architecture discussions, drive platform adoption, and advise customer tech leads. You will develop a domain specialization and be a go-to expert within the team.

You will lead reviews across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, coordinating with DSAs, SSAs and partners to deliver complex solutions while influencing product direction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or related roles.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture (pipelines, streaming, lakehouse).
• Proficient with Databricks Platform and developing specialization.
• Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders (whiteboard, reviews).
• Experience deploying on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) including security/governance.
• Track record of platform adoption and customer impact.
• Excellent communication translating architecture to business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Desirable healthcare data standards and pharma/biotech domain exposure.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineers.
• Drive technical wins by showcasing Databricks differentiation through custom solutions.
• Develop emerging technical specialization (archetype) for the team.
• Coordinate DSAs, SSAs, and partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Influence product direction with customer requirements and competitive insights.
