Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customer engagements, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and serving as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects. You combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the foundation of your customers’ data and AI strategy.

You will develop a technical specialization within your team, coordinate cross-functional resources, and influence

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical roles.
Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding ability.
Deep expertise in distributed data systems and lakehouse patterns.
Proficient with Databricks Platform and cloud deployments.
Experience leading architecture discussions with executives.
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy from discovery to production deployment.
Lead architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and directors.
Drive technical wins with differentiated, custom solutions.
Develop an emerging technical specialization within the team.
Coordinate DSAs, SSAs, and partners to deliver complex solutions.
Provide structured feedback on customer requirements and gaps.
