Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Austin is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support key datacenter customers. You will drive on-site debugging, demonstrations, and POC development across GPUs, CPUs, and related tools.

Ideal candidates have strong problem-solving skills, cross-functional collaboration experience, and a track record of technical leadership in server hardware and software environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Server and/or GPU architecture, integrating, debugging, and validating system components.
• Solid technical foundation in CPU architecture, platform design, and end-to-end product development and production processes.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing technical engagements with AMD's Channel partners.
• Prepare and deliver demos and POCs showcasing AMD EPYC and Instinct capabilities.
• Reproduce customer issues on-site and develop test harnesses for debugging.
