Job summary

AMD’s Partner Support Field Applications Engineering team seeks a skilled professional to support datacenter customers and channel partners. You will lead technical engagements, demonstrate AMD EPYC and Instinct capabilities, and reproduce complex issues on-site using hardware and software test harnesses.

With a strong foundation in CPU/GPU architectures and cross-functional collaboration, you will help validate platforms, develop benchmarks, and drive debugging throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Experience solving complex hardware/software problems across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong background in CPU/GPU architectures, platforms, and production processes.
  • Hands-on platform software experience including Linux/Windows and validation apps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer-facing technical engagements with channel partners.
  • Prepare and deliver demos and POCs for EPYC and Instinct capabilities.
  • Reproduce complex issues on-site and set up test harnesses for log collection.
  • Drive root cause analysis with engineering and package workloads for debugging.
  • Develop benchmarking frameworks and perform TCO analyses.
  • Coordinate internal debug efforts and communicate status across teams.
