Job summary

AMD is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support Channel partners and datacenter customers. You will focus on GPUs and CPUs, performing debug, validation, and development across hardware and software stacks.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities for complex cross-functional problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead engagements with channel partners and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing technical engagements across GPUs/CPUs in datacenter environments.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations and POCs for AMD EPYC and Instinct portfolios.
• Reproduce customer issues on-site and develop test harnesses for logs and debugging.
• Drive root cause analysis with internal engineering and package workloads/test cases for debugging.
• Develop benchmarking frameworks and TCO analyses to quantify AMD advantages.
• Coordinate internal debug activities and communicate status across teams.
• Develop scaffolding software to accelerate debug activities for internal and external use.
• Support partners with technical enablement and joint go-to-market efforts.
