Job summary
Paychex is seeking a senior technical architect to lead architecture across a portfolio of products and agile teams. You will shape enterprise solutions, design future state architectures, and ensure alignment with SOA principles and cloud transformations.
Collaboration with program leaders and mentors for junior engineers are key aspects. A strong background in CRM systems and enterprise-scale software is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related discipline – Required
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related discipline – Preferred
- 10+ years of experience in design and development of orchestration/integration components using third-party middleware technologies with SOA
- 10+ years of experience in designing, building and deploying highly scalable web and/or mobile enterprise applications
- Experience in transforming an On-premises SAAS application into Cloud
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and architectural leadership within a portfolio of products, programs and agile teams.
- Define software architectural approach and high-level design for agile teams while ensuring project goals and timelines.
- Develop and implement future state architectures, roadmaps, standards, and frameworks for SOA and cloud adoption.
- Collaborate with leadership to align portfolio goals and present architecture decisions to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior architects and tech leads to promote consistency across applications and designs.
