Job summary

Paychex seeks a senior architectural leader to guide a portfolio of products and agile teams. You will shape software architecture, roadmaps, and enterprise services to deliver a unified client experience across CRM platforms.

The role requires design of scalable systems, collaboration with product and program teams, and mentoring junior architects. Base pay reflects extensive experience and location leverage within the Paychex ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related discipline is required.
• Master's degree in CS, software development or related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with designing mission-critical, highly scalable software applications is required.
• Extensive experience with web and/or mobile enterprise applications and SOA patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for agile teams and define high-level architectural design.
• Develop future state architectures, roadmaps, standards, and SOA practices.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and ensure security, performance, and interoperability.
