Job summary

Avalon Healthcare Solutions seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead enterprise architecture across the organization, connecting applications, data, and platforms. The role translates business strategy into architectural roadmaps and modernization program execution.

You will guide engineers and agile teams, design agentic AI orchestration, and mentor leaders while aligning with product, security, data, and infrastructure partners. Remote-eligible with quarterly travel to Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in information systems development, maintenance, or support, preferably in healthcare/managed care.
• Master’s or advanced degree in CS or MIS preferred.
• Hands-on software engineering, prototyping, and issue resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide Avalon’s enterprise architecture and information systems strategy with business goals in mind.
• Develop modernization roadmaps with cross-functional teams and address debt and risk.
• Define enterprise standards, reference architectures, and reusable cloud capabilities.
