Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead architecture, design, and governance of enterprise-scale AI solutions transforming healthcare delivery and engagement.

The role collaborates with business leaders, product teams, and engineers to implement AI-first strategies, ensure responsible AI, and align with regulatory standards. Remote from anywhere in the U.S. with some in-office requirements in select areas.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or software engineering roles.
• 3+ years of experience designing and delivering AI, ML, analytics, or automation solutions.
• 1+ year of experience with LLMs, GenAI, or agentic AI platforms.
• 1+ year of experience with vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture for AI-powered healthcare solutions across domains.
• Define enterprise AI architecture patterns, standards, and guardrails for GenAI and ML.
• Design scalable architectures with LLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, and AI agents.
