Job summary

JCS Solutions seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to join the I3TS team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will work with Leidos and government leadership to modernize IT infrastructure and drive innovation.

The role requires designing secure, scalable on-prem and cloud solutions, developing proofs of concept, and delivering detailed plans with cost, schedule, and risk analyses.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing secure, scalable on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
• Experience migrating applications and services.
• Experience maintaining architecture artifacts and communicating designs to stakeholders.
• Experience evaluating new technologies to improve performance, security, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Identify service gaps and drive continual innovation for DTRA IT infrastructure.
• Lead analysis of alternatives and proofs of concept (3 months or less).
• Draft detailed project plans covering technical approach, cost, schedule, and risks.
• Collaborate with Leidos and Government stakeholders to identify improvements.
• Oversee proofs of concept to provide measurable insights into improvements.
