Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Digital Native Business, Named Accounts region in the United States. You will shape data architectures for customers, lead proofs of concept, and drive ML and analytics workflows across cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and customer teams to create scalable solutions, promote open-source projects, and develop technical champions throughout the customer journey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture or similar pre-sales/consulting roles.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for programming and debugging.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership and show how Databricks solves business problems.
• Consult on Big Data architectures and run proofs of concept across data engineering, data science and ML workflows.
• Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support customers and users.
• Promote and contribute to Databricks open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) within the developer community.
