Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to partner with strategic Digital Natives Business customers, shaping data and AI architectures using our platform and APIs. You will lead technical discovery, design architectures, and guide customers through implementation and best practices.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering/pre-sales, experience with Spark and cloud platforms, and the ability to travel regionally. Remote work with Pacific Time preference is available.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years in data engineering, data science, or pre-sales/consulting.
Experience building distributed data systems.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Databricks Certification desired.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and design architectures for strategic projects spanning data engineering, data science and machine learning, and SQL workflows.
Implement proofs of concepts for projects and help customers integrate with cloud services and third‑party tools.
Act as strategic technical advisor to drive business outcomes and champion Databricks solutions.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects to support customers and contribute to open‑source projects.
